Michael Jackson Doctor trial postponed

It’s been widely reported that the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial of Dr Conrad Murray has been postponed until at least May 9th 2011.

The Superior Court Judge, Michael Pastor has given both side more time after the original planned start of March 24th.

Selection of the jury will go ahead as previously planned on the 24th March. Can you imagine being on THAT jury and it is going to be a stiff challenge indeed to find a jury who will be able to be objective I think … this is just a whole terrible sad situation.

This looks like it will be a long trial and with the addition of it being televised, I hope it doesn’t turn into a media circus … highly unlikely.
