Michael Jackson walk of fame slab – Hand and Foot prints

A previously abandoned concrete slab featuring Michael Jackson’s hand and foot prints, along with his signature, is expected to sell for $100,000 (£63,000) at online auction in Los Angeles next month.

The slab was made in 1984 for an unsuccessful Las Vegas Walk of Fame project, before being discovered in the Riviera Hotel basement in 2006 and being raffled off to a guest.

The winner sold the slab to its current owner in 2009, who left it in his basement and, according to auction house owner Nate D. Sanders, passed it on for sale for fear “his wife might run over it”.
