I travelled to see the Grand Park of Tirana in Albania. Come join me there too. Welcome to Art, Culture & Travel with me, Anthony King.
Tirana’s Grand Park, situated at the heart of the city, spans approximately 230 hectares (568 acres) and has been a prominent feature since its establishment in the 1950s. It serves as a tranquil retreat from urban life, offering expansive green spaces, a man-made lake, and recreational facilities. The park is a favoured destination for leisure activities such as walking, picnicking, and enjoying nature. Notable landmarks within the park include the Presidential Palace and the Monument of the Frashëri Brothers, which we’ve visited in a previous video. Renowned for its natural beauty and cultural significance, Tirana’s Grand Park is a really relaxing place in a very loud and noisy city.
