The Munich Olympic stadium was a highlight of Munich for me. The stadium broke ground in 1968 and is such a unique design. A quick incredible story from the stadium which you will see a little of in today’s video. The 1972 Summer Olympic Games were held in Munich, Germany, where a young German girl called Silvia Sommerlath was working as a VIP interpreter and host. Today I’ll be taking you on a photographic tour of the Polish Army Museum and the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland. The Palace of Culture and Science is the 6th-tallest building in the European Union and was constructed in 1955. The building was originally known as Joseph Stalin’s Palace of Culture and Science but the destalinization of the building removed his dedication and name from the interior and exterior of this imposing building.

Prague’s Musaion & Naprstek Museum of Asian, African, and American Cultures | Czech Republic Welcome to “Art, Culture & Books” with me Anthony King. Today I’ll be taking you on a video and photographic tour of the Musaion & the Naprstek Museum of Asian, African, and American Cultures in Prague, Czech Republic. The Musaion was built in 1831 by architect Heinrich Koch and is surrounded by the beautiful Kinský Gardens. The Naprstek Museum of Asian, African, and American Cultures was founded in 1874 at which time it became a cultural and educational centre of the Czech intelligentsia.
