Welcome to “Art, Culture & Books” with me Anthony King. Today I’ll be taking you on a video and photographic tour of two locations; Fortress Klis and Brac Island both in Croatia. The Klis Fortress is a medieval fortress and I’ve heard that it’s been featured in the hit series “Game of Thrones”. We’ll also be visiting the beautiful island of Brac, which is home to over 100 churches and is the largest island in Dalmatia. The Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace in Split was built with limestone that was quarried on Brač. Of course, we will be visited that in a future video.
