It was sculpted by Wincenty Kućma and unveiled in 1989. It’s located on the southern side of Krasiński Square. The Warsaw Uprising Monument, created by sculptor Wincenty Kućma, stands as a powerful symbol of resilience and remembrance in the heart of Warsaw, Poland. The monument was erected to commemorate the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, a significant event during World War II when the Polish resistance fought against German occupation.
