Do I need to learn ballet to become a professional dancer?
I strongly advise you to learn, at the very least the basics of ballet so that you can become the best dancer that you can be and as versatile a dancer as you can be. If you don’t do so you are restricting your skills and your ability to be hired as a dancer. With that said, it is not required to become a professional dancer.
